Soroptimist Annual Spring Auction
Errin is a member of Soroptimist International of Seattle North. Soroptimist is an international organization for business and professional women who work to improve the lives of women and girls in local communities and around the world.
On April 12th we will hold our annual auction. Tickets are only $35. It is held at the Mercer Island Community Center. This is an all volunteer effort with no paid administrators so that all of the money donated goes directly to the event.
Our goal is to raise $40,000 to build a playground for the Catherine Booth house (a confidential, emergency shelter for women and children escaping domestic violence). This facility is sponsored by the Salvation Army.
We are currently offering opportunities for businesses in our area to help with this effort. You can help in one of the following ways:
1) Donate $ to help cover the expenses of the event. A minimum donation of $100 is appreciated.
2) Donate an auction item.
Our business sponsors will be recognized and promoted at the event. Your name will be on the invitation and the event program and you will be included as part of the “Best of the West” in your business category.
